oye, let us hope that it's a boy and on his birth he comes out swingin!

you'll know if he's destined to be a fighter if he comes out wearing some of these:

if its a boy, in about 10 years time; nacho beristain is going to come up missing. if i have to KO JMM, rafa, finito and rudy to get to him, so be it.

i can't move the operation to mexico.

My little brother is ten and he sees me boxing and he wants to do it too so my moms gonna let him and he will be starting next week. It sucks cus when I was his age I was asking her for a boxing membership too but we didn't have the money back then and she "didn't want me getting hurt". It's something that bugs me a lot because it was just 20 bucks a month and later when we did have the money she didn't want me doing it still but now my little brother gets to do it and play soccer.
I have to work twice as hard since the dudes my age have 5 to 10 years of experience and I barely have any. If I can't live out my dream hopefully my little brother can and I'm gonna make sure he get's the proper training as long as he wants to continue to do it.
We have a decent team of trainers in our gym Augie Sanchez (he beat Paez and was knocked out by Hamed) trains us.. Pat Barry is also really good an knowledgable, hes the owner.
I'd give anything to move down to Mexico in Nacho's barrio and train with him though.

Yea it's great and I don't even get protective when she gets hit. The funny thing is, her mother tells me I'm trying to raise a boy...hahah.

It's just that I had abig influence on my daughter so she likes everything I like, I can't help it. Even though when we go and see her side of the family, her grandma makes comments I don't appreciate. Like saying inderect things about "Esos Mexicanos", **** pisses me off but I stay respectfull because she's older than me and it's her house.

PR will never be hurting, nor has it ever really hurt prior to the US. We have fish everywhere... fruits etc. That is why PRs never come to the USA with the same desperate hunger that others do. THere was always BISTEC on the table as opposed to tortilla and cheese. We have NEVER known hunger on the level that the Mexicans, per se, know. Hence, the PRs are not as hungry no pun. At the end of the day, Puerto Rico will always be OK with or without the USA. THE US took a lot of our industries away when they moved in with the industrialization and machinery. Prior to that, PR was thriving with Tobacco, sugar cane etc.

For every PR that you find with derogatory if ANY comments about Mexicans, you will find 100 Mexicans talkin smack about PRs. It's an obsession and a national pastime favorite of theirs. Strange but true. Sadly, I never did see a connection as they are Indians and PRs are primarily Spanish, very little African and even less Taino Indian as they were decimated very early on.
