napa's, eh ... cool. really wasn't ALL that i thought it was going to be. i took my wife there about 6 months ago. it is about that much of a distance from SF too. That seems to be general consensus every time I ask Californians. My girlfriend is dying to go to Napa, and from what I've researched it's only about 60-70 miles away from San Fran which is not that long of a drive, we want to stay for at least 1 night you know? after all that wine tasting I think we are going to get a pretty good buzz. Yosemite is a must for me, I love the outdoors and living in the swamp that is FL I don't get to see any falls or mountains regularly you know?
I was thinking of buying a separate plane ticket from San Fran to San Diego but everyone keeps telling me I need to drive through the 101 cuz the scenery is breath taking, granted is a long 10 hour drive but I think it's worth it. And I've always wanted to go to San Diego, ever since I was a young pup, I also want to check out El 7 Mares, maybe eat some fish taquitos with my boy Tony if he happens to be there lol
what i did was schedule 3 tastings in the morning (you gotta schedule the wine tastings, which isn't so lovely), and then just stayed in a bed and breakfast and get smashed.
DO however go to Cakebread winery - very good and VERY generous portions. coppola's was eh and the others seemed to be more of the same.
i hate to think that you're into the same things as i, because you're such a prick.Comment

tell me bout it. we've had days where it's @ 120!
hahaa that's funny.. sitting there thinking about all the things you could do but wont.
**** it.. how long is she gonna be gone for?
If it's a different time zone then that technically means your single.. right?
once you cross a time zone it don't count

Thanx for the heads up on the winery's, I haven't done my homework as of yet but I will keep those in mind. This trip has to be special since I'm proposing to my girl during our time in California.Comment
