I didnt say 60/40 was outlandish. I said if he wanted 60/40 against BHop, then think of what he'd demand for Calzaghe.
No, Im telling you that if he wanted to fight Roy, he would've tried. But to you, all he needed to do was to say "I want to fight him." To you that automatically means Roy is ducking him. ******.

What Im telling you is that if he wanted to fight Roy - the best fighter in the world and a much bigger name - he would've done what all hungry challengers did!

Jones GAVE UP HIS MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE, moved to 168 and positioned himself to be Toney's mandatory. That's how he got the shot!

What did Calzaghe do? Besides express a desire to fight? What did he offer Roy?

I guess Wladimir Klitschko ducked Roy. Know why? Roy expressed a desire to fight him. Never mind the outlandish demands Roy made...I mean, they were no more outlandish than Warren offering Jones to fight his unknown fighter in Wales LMAO.

        I rest my case.

I dont need to show any biases towards Roy Jones. I actually admire him as one of the greatest fighters Ive ever had the pleasure of watching. That doesnt mean he's beyond criticisim which fanboys like you wont understand.

          100k fans= a ridiculous load of duckets.
Actually, that's not true. Larger crowds DON'T equal larger paydays. Calzaghe just earned a career high payday fighting in front of 10k in Vegas. As opposed to the 35k he drew against Manfredo in Wales...why?

Why did Calzaghe himself say his fight against Jones would be in the US because they stood to make more money there?

Also: Tell me how Joe is doing Roy a favor? Is he giving Roy a bigger payday than Jones would get for a rematch w/ Glenn Johnson? Doubtful. What about maybe Dawson? Nope. Roy is doing Joe the favors by allowing him to make some "real" money like he has made since the mid-90's by fighting a "real" legend . Joe has just now started to reap the benefits of being a boxing star. Better recognize sonny.
dirk, just dosnt understand dude... Joe can come out say he is a **** and this dude would tell you otherwise.....

I didnt say ducking. I said Roy wasnt keen on the fight.

Jones gave up his middleweight title and got an immediate shot at Toney. Lucky Toney was such a nice guy and a warrior willing to put it on the line.

Goodness knows how many hoops Joe wouldve had to jump through to get a shot at Jones all the while the ATGs that were Telesco and Woods were being taken care of.

Yep and poor Calzaghe had to prepare himself for this list of deserving warriors:
                Branko Sobot
                Juan Carlos Gimenez Ferreyra
                Robin Reid (BY SPLIT DECISION!)
                Rick Thornberry
                David Starie
                Omar Sheika
                Richie Woodhall
                Will McIntyre
                Charles Brewer
                Miguel Angel Jimenez
                Tocker Pudwill
                Byron Mitchell
                Mger Mkrtchian
                Kabary Salem
Mario Veit (They actually fought twice, after Cal KO'd him 1st round!)
                Evans Ashira
                Peter Manfredo Jr

RJJ can have any goddamn demand he wants!! He doesnt need some ABC belt to call the shots and make demands. RJJ puts asses in the ****ing seats and people want to see him dance and embarrass someone!!!

I'm gonna answer each part of your statement paragraph by paragraph to see which part you avoid.

                      1. So now Jones wasn't "keen" on the fight. Tell me...if you were the world's best fighter, an established PPV fighter and the bigger name, would u go fight some nobody in his little country for less money? The answer is yes if you're a Calzaghe nuthugger who believes their hero deserved whatever his little heart desired.

                      2. Jones didn't get an immediate fight at 168 against Toney. Go do your homework. He made only ONE defense of his MW title because he couldn't make weight. Nearly ALL his fights after Hopkins (and before Toney) were at SMW already. he officially moved up fighting highly-ranked Merqui Sosa BEFORE Toney. Got it?

                      3. We don't know how many hoops Calzaghe would've had to go through because he didn't try, now do we? Unless telling some obscure reporter that you'd like to fight Roy Jones is your idea of "trying."

Go away. You'll probably stop watching boxing once Calzaghe retires. Fraud...
