Im not suprised every. The PPV buying audience is only going down and down, and most people are only going to shell out big bucks for star vs. starComment

very true.
manny is the cashcow in the division.
if he fights this guy over this guy this fan will say something. reverse it and the other guy's fan will say something.
i just hate getting involved in the who draws more and who's more popular debate.
plus someone will say something derogatory so someone else will reply the same.
i'm guilty of it too sometimes but i don't like being involved in it.
sometimes a guy will just piss you off that you start mouthing off things that you don't believe yourself just to go against them.Comment

We cannot deny that Pacquiao is the cashcow! He is obviously paid more than $10M in his last 6-7 fights. Whether Pacquiao is a draw or not, it doesn't matter to him, it's already a bonus for him to earn from all those PPVs, not to the fans.
The truth is: anybody pitted against Pacquiao can receive more than what he previously earned in his last fight!Comment

I was thinking it would be really creepy if it was someone else's kid not from your family or anything, just some random baby picture.

no offense but i dont see why people are think 200K is too low of a number for PPV buys for the fight.
No offense to Diaz but every dedicated/educated boxing fan knows this was basically a fight made for pacquiao to:
A) Move up in weightclass against not THEE best opponent in the division but certainly not the worse.
B) To earn another ABC title.
Thats basically what this fight was...
i didnt order the PPV or even watch a live stream because i knew the result before the opening bell...
this wasnt a highly anticipated fight in general...
no offense...props to both fighters...world class talent...but it just wasnt the fight people really wanted to see.
People wanted to see hatton v. pacquiao...or even Pacquiao v. Marquez again...
Or even pacquiao v. a top fighter in that division...like THEE lineal champion...not a simple title holder.
this does go to show (in my opinion) that one fighter cant always sell the tickets on his own.Comment
