Wait a second, Pacquiao-Diaz did less then 200K?

Boxingtalk has been hearing serious rumblings from various sources claiming that the Manny Pacquaio-David Diaz PPV telecast generated an abyssmal amount of buys believed to be less than 200,000. No official announcement has been made by HBO regarding the numbers and this could be the reason why
    .

Where's the link it did 250,000k again?

The numbers is not official yet since HBO will release it after 2 weeks of the fight.. 250k is the final estimation..

Why are some people obsessed of Pac's PPV numbers,, Does Pac share his percentage of his PPV with you??

It did go higher than Barrera-Marquez... 250k is still the final estimation according to Arum and Taffet.. Just wait for the final release of HBO.

              Barrera-fana = 50k
              Marquez - Barrera 225k

Marquez fighting David Diaz willl never reach 200k.. Marquez has little to do with it.. It's the history of the fight the makes it interesting not Marquez himself.. His fight with Juarez drew 1000+ crowd instead of 10000 capacity stadium.. His PPV bout with Juarez got cancelled at MGM Grand because only 500 people bought the tickets and HBO reject it and showtime got the knots.

Pacmans numbers without Morales/Barrera/Marquez are generally dismal. infact, solis, 3kbattery, Larios werent even promo'd by HBO ppv. This Diaz fight is why, the fact is, i dont blame pacman for this being on PPV, i blame ****ing HBO, this **** should have been on TV for free.

even in counting ppv numbers you find a way to hate marquez for some reason.

if it didn't hit 200k that's not good.

                    250k is OK.

so much talk about ppv numbers. manny fans/haters are starting to sound like floyd fans/haters.

it was a good win for a belt for manny. let's see if manny can be a REAL champ at 135.

i'd rather talk about possible guzman , marquez , campbell , diaz , katsidis , casamayor , pacquiao matchups than ppv numbers. let arum and pacquiao's accountants worry about that.

i love manny and i hate marquez. it's a fan thing NOT a ppv thing. if you don't love/hate manny and love/hate marquez you're not a boxing fan.

we are about to see 6-7 fights this year involving the top 9-10 guys at 130 to 135. **** the ppv numbers! i just can't wait to see how the fights turn out and who's fighting who next year......
