If he's such a bum, why hasn't he been knocked out by the bigger guys he's fought?

Besides, you can't be retired and pound for pound the best. That's like Lennox Lewis still being heavyweight champion. Not happening.

In time I think they are championship material but I think they need a better trainer. Barry Hunter doesn't really tell them **** in between rounds. Also like another poster said that lack power but Hunter is trying to make in them into punchers when they are boxers.

Manny's speed, stamina, power and aggressivness though is why he has been able to take a basic 1-2 as far as he has, cant think of anothr boxer who would be able to.

P4P rankings change, based on current assessments, right?
What Manny did years ago isn't as important as what he can do now.

P4P is just a rather silly way of answering a hypothetical question:
Pound for pound, if all boxers were to somehow magically fight at a common weight, without losing the comfort/skill they have at their
            current weight, ...who would dominate?

Since one of the ways we gauge a fighter's current skill is his record,
then past fights do factor in, but recent fights should be given
far more importance than those of, say, a decade or more earlier.

            Cheers,
            h.

Floyd? He Never Changed From A Defensive Fighter To An Offensive One To The End! He Was Too Coward To Risk! No Changes! That's Why He Was And Will Never Be As Exciting As Pacquiao!

Mayweather only got a bronz in the Olympics.. So does that mean whoever got the gold and the silver beat him and should still now be rated p4p higher than him?

The number one pound for pound fighter in the world today is Sugar Ray Robinson. Sure he may be fat old, retired and dead but present circumstances don't seem to matter here.
