yeah that was when he started out. Mayweather no doubt is the best p4p, but being that he's retired u have 2 put manny on top right now...

You forget the facts homie. That fight was when Pac was barely 18 and it was a world title fight. A time when your daddy floyd was still in the amateurs notching up losses himself. So all things considered its pretty good for a guy with no amateur background.

I think it was probably a little of both. I'm sure he wanted to KO the guy, but as the fight went longer he was probably content just to wait for the right time.

One of those fights was when he tried for a 3rd title defense. So he wasnt just starting out as you say, that right hand to the stomach paralyzed Manny.

Pac was almost 21 in that fight not barely 18 as you say.

i think it sums up pretty much what kind of a boxing critic he is. i guess he would say also RJJ cant be one of the greatest boxers since he too was knocked out.

pac started fighting pro at 15 to support his family. you're talking about a family that had to sell stolen ciggarettes on the street and used there hands for toilet paper because they were so poor.

of course he took some l's along the way starting so young but has showed nothing but utter dominance against the best fighters of the time, especially since getting a real trainer in Freddie Roach. go easy on the pacman sheesh. ali was knocked out in the amateurs, margarito got beat a few times in his early days. pac is certainly not soft in the middle now. he has like a 10 pac and has proven to have an iron chin, mid section, and will in the ring in the past 10 years.

Well comparing Pac's early losses to his p4p status today as opposed to floyd's is not even fair. It would be like taking floyd's amateur record into consideration for his p4p status. Dude's a 2nd genaration boxer who had the best coaches in the world developing his game. Pac's only real boxing education was with Freddy Roach. If both Pac and floyd started on an even platform there would be no Floyd jr ATG talk. He'd be completely overshadowed by Pac.
