Your above post has nothing to do with what I commented on. Regardless of all that you nor I know what PBF would have done had Margarito beat Baldomir for the titles. That is my only point. Other than that **** this ****.

I am big PBF fan I am tired of seeing threads about him when he is retired. There should be more threads about upcoming fights like Toney vs. Rahman, Cotto vs. Margarito. Or possilble upcoming bouts like L. Peterson vs. Holt, Pacman vs. Valero.

**** PBF he is not boxing right now and quite possibly never again. Alot of yall on here call PBF fans nuthuggers and **** but its not his fans who make all these threads about PBF every ****ing day so maybe some of yall need to actually get off his nuts.

the biggest bull**** of all is people still think Floyd ducked Margarito even though he lost to Paul Williams. what happen to that ****?

Just because he beaten Cintron the guy he already beaten before doesnt mean a ****.

Nobody knew about Margarito intell Arum publicity that Floyd didnt want to fight Margarito for $ 8mil

other then that nobody knew a **** about him.

What does Floyd ducking Margarito in 2006 have to do with Margarito losing to Williams in 2007???

I have heard from countless Floyd fans that the reason Floyd fought Baldomir instead of Margarito, was because Baldomir was the Undisputed/Linear WW Champ, and had more to offer than Margarito did. Me personally, i doubt that was the "real" reason. This is why:

When Arum made Floyd the $8mil offer to fight Margarito, Floyd had yet to secure an opponent for his Nov 4th ppv date. He then went desperately scrambling for an opponent, when all along, Margarito was the only one willing to step in the ring with him. Not to mention, Margo was the #1 ranked WW at the time. Floyd went looking for fights with Shane (even though Shane had already stated that he will be taking the rest of the year off). He tried to get Oscar in the ring, but Oscar was in retirement mode at the time. He even went as low as to try to secure a fight with Cory Spinks! (Thank god that idea got shut down). Floyd ONLY choices were Margarito, or Baldomir (given Baldo beat Gatti). Floyd crossed his fingers, and prayed to the gods in hope of a Baldomir win. So my question is, if all along he had the option of fighting the #1 ranked WW for a career high payday, why wait, gamble, and risk losing out, in hopes that Baldomir beats Gatti? What would Floyd have done if Gatti won? There is no way on earth Gatti's people or HBO would've let that happen again, so what would Floyd have done? An even better question is, If Floyd's intentions were to go after Baldomir's titles/belts, why was Baldomir Floyd's last choice??? If you're after the WW champ, why do u go looking for fights with guys like Spinks and Shane? Floydboyz will argue that Floyd chose Baldomir over Margarito because Baldomir had the titles. Why wasnt Baldomir Floyd's first option then?????
          Anybody???

If u ask me, he did that in order to say that he offered them both fights, and they turned him down/ducked him.
Because cards get scrapped and fighters get paid to step aside ALL THE TIME.

If Arum had 8 mil to throw around then SURELY he could have given Gomez a new leaf-blower and a tank of gas to sit his OLD WASHED-UP ass down.

Gomez on PPV was a DEBACLE

To claim he wanted Floyd sooo badly and to let an UNRANKED shell of a lightweight foil his plans in spurious to say the least.

WHY FIGHT GOMEZ IN THE FIRST PLACE?

usally losing should shut people up and Margarito to be more concern about a rematch the a fight with Mayweather.

most of you are just haters.

when Margarito lost nobody talked **** about Margarito-Williams rematch.

at the same time Mayweather went up and fought DHL and people put it acient but he was fight at 154 with Oscar's rule and that is after Oscar coming out with an impressive win against Mayorga.

and nobody said a **** that Mayorga was shot.

most of Margarito fans are either Mexicans or Mayweather haters.

If Margarito would have beaten Baldo, Floyd would've just used another excuse of why not to fight him.

Floyd would have had NO where to go apart from Oscar/Spinks because Cotto wasnt ready at that time, Margarito would have got rid of Baldomir and Mosley said he has a toothache/he wanted to have a holiday.
