if i were a boxer i sure as hell would not like anybody dictating to me whom i can fight or not. it's the boxer's choice and no one elses!

you would be if you're in their country, they would take your travel papers, and leave you with nothing especially if you badly need the cash.

you can't tell me that all the pinoy fighters who got ko'd in thailand or australia didn't have their boxing licenses etc...! these pinoy boxers CHOOSE to fight in those countries whether they win or lose! why is the philippine government getting involved just because the majority of their fighters get beaten up?

this doesn't make sense and i don't see why this apol suico/kameda fight is making any headlines either. in fact, they've already replaced apol suico with a more inferior mexican fighter. yet you don't hear mexican fans complaining here and there!

dont worry about suico getting hurt in mexico the refs stops the fight when is time
unlike in the usa when u pretty much have to show ur death certificate for the ref to stop the fight
like the last peterson fight that was awful castañeda was getting badly hurt the ref shoulda stop the fight a long time ago

As I posted previously, Suico has been replaced by Mexican fighter Marino Montiel who I dare to say is a walk in the park for Koki Kameda. Just search for that guy at boxrec. His record speaks for itself. I said before, and I say again. A fighter with this kind of record is not qualified to fight an ex-world champion. But these things Kameda has done, and will continue to do. Alas. My concern is that Kameda doesn't hit him low.

Well are you happy now that a Mexican will now take a beating? Fighting with so little preparation time is the one of the worst. A mismatch will definitely happen. I'd say it was a wise move for Suico to back out rather than risk his health without the the convenience of a good training camp.

I just wish his replacement well and that he may recover from the unjust beating he is about to take.

they trying to push the kameda brothers as icons here since everyone hates them back in japan
the younger kameda already got cheered in his amateurs exhibitions
putting koki against a mexican would be ******
