ROFL! You talk hand picked Valero as if it's something handpicked similar to Floyd would do. Are you serious? Handpicking a 24-0 24 KO guy? I will PAY TO SEE THAT. You think Floyd would ever DARE face someone that dangerous? Hell no! That's not handpicking my son, that's facing upcomers as a real champion should do.

      the greatest modern fighter ever?

      that's my cue to bash.

if you say floyd is a great fighter. i'll agree.

if you say he's had titles in 5 divisions. i'll agree.

if you say floyd is one of the most skilled fighters. i'll agree.

      but greatest modern fighter ever?

you do realize leonard , duran , chavez , ali , robinson , jones , hagler , etc. are all modern fighters right?

I don't mind him fighting Valero so much as his detractors saying he needs to fight him. Im all for staying busy and think Valero will be an easy tune up. But that doesn't mean he deserves a title shot either. Bring back the day when fighters every month with plenty of non title fights mixed in with the big fights. I know it won't happen, but its nice to dream.

Because people are determined to hate Floyd Mayweather.

Floyd maybe more skillful than Manny Pacquiao boxing wise. but Pacquiao is far more greater fighter than him and much of a champion than him. Pacquiao fights for pride, a humble gentleman, fights for his country, fights with his heart and he is a good guy in and out of the ring. something floyd doesn't have

I have seen nothing from Manny that would make me believe he is a "far more greater fighter" than him.
