Because someone is going to complain no matter who he fights. Valero and Juan Diaz are fights that were supposed to happen a while back and there is enough interest in both of them now to make them come off. It's not like he's fighting an Alfonso Gomez or a Gary Lockett.

Valero's Technique is Garbage and won't be able to land any significant shots on a top level fighter. But some of you novices will consider his destruction of Valero as another great feat ala Diaz fight. What is happening is Pacman is doing the same BS as the fighter that most love to hate. We have seen this script before but since he is a "nice guy" many eat it up! It wasn't acceptable then and it shouldn't be acceptable now. i've seen a lot of pac hate from floyd nuthuggers on this forum and it's annoying to a pacnuthugger like i am.

as far as what pac is doing. this is his 3rd fight this year. say what you want about david diaz but he was belt holder and top 5 in the division at the time.

i don't agree with the valero fight but since it's his 3rd and i call valero a "tuneup" then i don't mind it. it was probably gonna be soto but cortez ****ed that up.

and what floyd did is not the same thing as what pac has done. floyd moved to welter what 4 years ago? in 3-4 years he couldn't fight cotto , marg , williams or even old shane?

manny has fought 1 guy in the top 10 p4p this year. hardly cherry picking his opponents.

Ksweety those fights were made due to the fact that Pacq had no intentions of fighting either. I think Nate was begging for a Pacq fight before the Diaz fight was signed. I bet if Arum put it on the table any of those fighters would alter contracts and step up. So the tied up argument don't hold water. I like Pacq too just as much as I like RJJ and PBF. But i'm tired of the Gimmicks and the idiots that stand with their *******s open willing to take it any time with the same old tired ass lines. Be offended if the shoe fits!!!!

Actually wasn't casamayor stripped of his title and Diaz beat Morales for the title? Joel was the actual champ if I remember correctly. Campbell is the legit champ because he has more titles, but Joel is the lineal. Juan Diaz didn't want to fight Casa, and Casa did look bad in that fight many thought he lost. It will all come together soon lol.

joan guzman-nate campbell winner , juan manuel marquez-joel casamayor winner or juan diaz-michael katsidis winner.

as long as he fights one of those guys next year , i have no problem with what he's doing. he can fight hatton or valero or soto or khan or whomever. as long as he fights at least 1 winner from those 3 fights next year......i'm good.
