He's inarticulate and he hates white people. Think again.
I would like to see Hopkins as an HBO commentator. Would You ?

BHop is not "street." That's an act. He's from a middle class/ upper middle class area of Philly. The truth is, Hopkins is one of the smartest fighters of any era..
This guy has always stuck to his gameplan..
As for idiots who think he was disrespectful to British media, Have you seen how they treated him?
Cmon man, Bhop is street. You disrespect him, he disrespects you.. I've seen footage of British media tryin to get cute and disrespect Hopkins..
--------------------------
He would make a good commentator with the exception of the occasional stuttering.. I'm surprised no one has mentioned this..
When Bhop has time to think about what he says, he sounds intelligent, and articulate as Outlaw mentioned..
The thing is, commentating is an improv so to speak, it happens you react.. Bhop doesn't have time to think and say what he wants without stuttering..
Now if he can quickly do this, and say things w/o stuttering, then he'd be the best boxer commentator..
I do like George, and Roy.. But they're a thing of the past.. They now have beefs with the network..
Bob Papa ain't bad, but he needs to brush up on his boxing knowledge..
Scully is a bit too CHILL and layed back.. He doesn't get excited..
Kellerman ain't too bad.. I like him..
Lampley - Decent at times, but very biased at times which makes me wanna slap that ****..
Merchant - Aging legend, needs to go tho.. A bit too slow
Lewis - Get rid of that guy, he has no idea how to say intelligent thoughts..Comment

Shut up you Calzaghe pickle smoker. Your just mad because Hopkins senior exposed your boy for the slappy *** that he is.At least Hopkins has an excuse for fighting 30 seconds a round. What's Cal***gies excuse for slapping like a whore?Comment

Hopkins was a commentator for an ESPN show earlier this year, and did a damn good job. I'd go as far as saying, he's a much better commentator than Lennox Lewis (which may not be saying too much). I'd actually prefer Hops to Kellerman.Comment
