LOL...
I remember your thread about this a few months back man..
Chill man, it's obvious you don't like Hopkins.. So be it..
Hopkins will always be remembered as a better fighter than Calzaghe..
And for the people saying hes racist, get real.. I'm white and I didn't care about the comments b/c they were said to hype the fight..
Some people are so ****in sensitiveComment

Also he knows the sport of boxing inside and out. He speaks clearly and bluntly. He's done ESPN several times and he is always excellent.Comment

true true. who cares if he missed "meetings". it was hard enough to get dude to press conferences let alone stiff meetings at HBO hq. B-hop would be interesting but perhaps too contreversial as I'm sure he'd say something political, socialogical or about race that would get him in trouble... put roy and bernard commentating the same fight and you got yourself a show!Comment

Hop would be an outstanding analyst. Fight hype is fight hype. In real life, he's a great guy with a great personality, and a damn genius when it comes to breaking down fight strategy and technique. Plus he's a great, articulate talker on camera.
You know who else would be a pretty good analyst is Joe Calzaghe. Overrated boxer, but good talker. Maybe they can be a broadcast team someday, how funny would that be. But one problem is no one in America would be able to understand his accent.Comment
