The first fight was close, but to me, Tarver did all his work in a few rounds rather than over the distance so Roy just nicked it. I had it 7 rounds to 5 for Jones. The second fight there is no debating!
and in the third fight Roy didn't do anything apart from in Round 5 (Where he looked fantastic and had tarver in trouble, if he carried on like that i think he would have won)
As for Tarver winning at any stage i must disagree, i think prime for prime Roy would wipe the floor with him.Comment

hey it was a very close fight, i think it could have gone either way,
tarver beat the **** out of roy in thatComment

He did beat Roy up a bit, but he only did that work in some rounds IMO. As i said in a previous post i think that Tarver didn't do enough work over the 12 rounds to win, he did it all over 5 rounds IMO.Comment

Tarver just post under your real name and stop lying.he has the best record out of any light heavyweight,he only lost hopkins because he was weight drained, this is the guy that finished roy jones,he is back and he gonna become the undisputed champion,
how can calzaghe be the best lhw after one fight in the division that **** aint right
tarver is the man at 175
calzaghe would never wanna fight him. calzaghe only after what tarver finishedComment

Calzaghe has no intention of proving himself at LHW, so the debate about Tarver is a bit pointless.
Calzaghe just wants a giant pay day before his retirement and RJJ represents the best option for making money.Comment
