I grew up watching Chavez and Tyson. These fighters were the reason I grew up Loving this sport. Chavez was the best at least with us younger guys that didn't grow up watching Ruben "PUAS" Olivares. A lot of old timers believe Puas was the best..... Puas had that left to the body too. But Chavez was A ****IN MONSTER. He NEVER DUCKED ANYONE. It wasn't about the money or fame.... it was about beating EVERYONE THAT DARED GET IN THE RING. He didn't talk too much but if you made the mistake of yapping crap..... he made it a point to PUNISH YOU. .....example: GREG HAUGEN
CHAVEZ = 1 of the GOAT

chavez Record Was Great, But It Was Padded. His Undefeated Streak Shouldve Stopped Twice....

        1) March 17,1990 When He Was 68-0...richard Steele Should Be Doing 5 1/2 To 15 Years In Prison For Robbery In The First Degree For What He Did That Night To Taylor.

2)september 10,1993 When He Was 87-0...whittaker Totally Outclassed Him..

A Majority Of Chavez's Fights Were In Mexico Amongst Nobodies....but He Did Beat Some Very Good Fighters, And At The End Of The Day Is Record Is Great, And Is One Of The Best In The History Of The Sport.

Anyone who has seen him fight, knows how great he really was. His committment to punches, his relentlessness, his tremendous heart, outstanding body punching (He is probably in the top 5 best body punchers in the history of boxing).... and so many other qualities.

Julio Cesar Chavez should have everyone's respect
I get the feeling that you're referring to me. I am not trying to discredit anyone and I am a true fan of boxing (Which is why I ask these things)
