i doubt marquez vs. cassamayor even gets close to 200k
    And Barrera-Fana did 50K buys.

Pac-Fana would have done at least 150K.

That's why the main eventers almost always have a percentage over a certain number of buys as motivation to promote the show.
It's also important to do a lot with little for the under cards, hence the convenience of lighter weight fights.

most ppl don't know about valero. pacquiao should fight campbell or something and have valero in an undercard to showcase him if they are so concerned about 'hits' and attendance. I personally don't care cuz I want to see this fight as I know it will be exciting even though I know pacpuiao will destroy valero.

Is Calzaghe the biggest draw in boxing next to Hatton?

Lets not forget this PPV did not have a countdown show on HBO.

Decent numbers not great though, the undercard was also ****.

                ****?

Mario Santiago and Steven Luevano went to war for 12 rounds and battled to a draw. Those are the number 2 and 3 featherweights in the world.

Tye Fields got blown out in the first by Monte Barrett.

Humberto Soto beat the living crap out of Francisco Lorenzo and got robbed via DQ, adding more drama to the show.

                ****? No way Jose.

they ended up being very entertaining.

what mrpain81 means by **** is that the undercard didn't have drawing power.

everyone bought the ppv because of the main event. no one said i'm buying this because of luevano or fields fight.

I didn't even know Pacquiao was the main event. I paid to see Tye Fields.
