mma has alredy killd, karate,kickboxing, ju-jitsu, ect.....because theyve all just turned to mma,.......................boxing is still hanging on though,

Like anyone actually tried to do something as big as boxing for Amateur Wrestling or Judo.

If anything, MMA has helped martial arts.

Where else they gonna go? Pro wrestling? No thank you.

MMA is ****ing gay.. i started boxing at a MMA/Boxing gym and have been there about 2 months(im changing to a strictly boxing gym when my membership expires in a few weeks) and lemme tell u jiu jitsu is the gayest ****in thing ive ever seen in my life.. they are rubbing eachothers balls all over each other .. just stand up and throw hands .. i was at the gym today and som kid was gettin a one on one session with the jiu jitsu trainer .. so gay.. i was thinkin this guy is spendin 100 bucks to he can roll around on the floor rubbin balls with this guy.. meanwhile im sparring in the ring..

muay thai is pretty kool .. however, i sparred a muay thai amatuer with boxing rules and took him to school ...

o yeah the jiu jitsu guys seem to be the only ones walkin around naked in the locker room

I think people miss that one of the main draws of MMA is that when you watch it you are actually watching the best fighters in the world. That's what drew me to it, even though I didn't immediately understand all the intricacies of grappling, the appeal was that this is the reality of fighting, and it compelled me to make myself understand the sport. Even if some of the fights are slow, that's fine to me because that's the nature of the sport, grappling usually takes longer to progress. I don't expect the sport to change for me, if you want to be a fan of the sport, you should become a fan of it as it is, not expect it to change and become more fast paced because you want it to be.

And for people saying "grappling is gay", I'd like to know if you can provide any verifiable proof for this statement, beyond your own opinion.

Best fighters in the world what a joke? Most of these guys are overhyped bums and a lot of the fights look like highly evolved schoolyard fighting.
