      What's to discuss?

      It's obvious that...

      1. The Director is pro-boxing
      2. Doesn't know what he's looking at.

And it's going to be obvious that you don't either and instead of asking question and learning, you're just going to start up **** again just to earn what brownie points you can.

Boxing fights are more exciting to watch for big shots and knockdowns/outs
MMA fights are better to watch if you know what youre watching, for example the skill involved with the jiu-jitsu and wrestling and that.
You pure boxing fans havent got a clue about MMA.

If you can't enjoy something right of the bat and have to "learn" it to apreciate it then how is it entertaining at all?

for me boxing has evolved over the past few hundred years into the sport it is today, i think ufc etc shows some kind of de evolution. whatever happened to a fair stand up contest? the oldest rule in the book. ground and pound is something you expect to see in an alley, not on a main stage today? if you know what i mean

He put a slow, sluggish MMA heavyweight fight (Sylvia-Nog) along with a fast-paced, great boxing welterweight fight (DLH-Quartey)...

Lets see how it looks like when someone puts a boxing heavyweight fight like Ruiz - Valuev along with a fast-paced MMA fight.

                ******.

i cant belive people are sticking up for mma on a boxing forum!

i think this proves it and i hate to admit it but mma is taking over,

a few years or moths back we would never hear talk of mma or ufc or whatever and now its huge,

mma has alredy killd, karate, kickboxing, ju-jitsu, ect.....because theyve all just turned to mma,.......................boxing is still hanging on though,

i hope boxing produces some stars and the heavweight devison sets off again, and then mma is ****ed in my opinion,
