Shane was a great fighter, still a good fighter, and yes they should have fought 7 years ago, but hes on the decline he loses a lopsided decision. He doesnt produce the combos he used to and he's not as fastas he once was, Flloyd rolls and ducks while countering all night.

Cotto which is very intriguing is made for Mayweather. He does have the chin MARG has, Flloyd can potshot his way early build a lead on the cards and BOOM land a big one that flattens Cotto. He's not ready yet he doesnt posses the D thats needed to beat Flloyd. In order to beat Flloyd you cant just come in and pressure the man he will counter you all night and land those accurate shots just piling up points on the scorecard. A fighter needs to be able to make Flloyd miss, and at this point in his career and Cotto cant make ppl miss, then he doesnt styand a chance.

All speculation until it actually happens.

See Douglas - Tyson for reference.

Also I find it funny a man who you guys say aren't anywhere near Floyd's talent, faces the best he possibly can with his supposely limited talent you guys say. Where as Floyd the ultimate technician, can't lose!, he picks who he knows he'll beat and doesn't have a chance of losing a round to. Find it funny he lost the first 3 or 4 rds to Zab, where Cotto dominated him from start to KO. Those 2 decent shots Zab got in don't win a round, and at least Cotto didn't go down like Floyd did.

Thats more Tyson then it was Douglas. Yes Douglas whooped his ass, beat the **** outta him. Tyson had his head up his ass and as you can see over the years has been known for underestimating opponents. Flloyd is and will always be too focused to underestimate. Still though your point is well taken.

                    he was an okay fighter.

i don't know why they're putting him in the same level as manny.

didn't his relative shot him and ended his career early?
