Exactly.. its very primitive. People who get into trouble and cant focus there mind turn to boxing. You always hear about the 'new' gym that opened in a rough neighbourhood, and how the kids love it. So the kids can't focus there minds and turn to boxing as they will never be educated.

Speaking in absolutes, should be avoided.

a valid point ... but the fact is that MOST fighters rely on a 'manager' or and 'promoter' to deal with the business end of things.

How do you know what "MOST" is if you don't have any facts or figures to present to me.

Anyone can go school and study. Boxing destroys your brain cells, this has been proven.

Boxers are 'hard asses' and have big 'egos', which makes them dumb.

You lose brain cells everytime you sneeze. So that means **** all.

To be fair i voted NO..if you count it as a hobby or form of exercise...

But realistically speaking, especially in a 3rd World country like the Philippines, those who go Pro/serious came from poor families or lived from the very rural areas(barrios), so they are basically uneducated and they dont know any better..they see boxing as a more lucrative way of life..especially now with Pac earning millions and being a national Icon/Hero..

it doesnt mean they are dumb though, they are just...uneducated..
