Though the content of your post is worded harshly I agree with the premise of your thread topic. Boxing has traditionally been a means for those born of very limited means to achieve fame and fortune. With that typically comes poor education, but education is not a measure of ones intelligence but a yardstick to measure your ability to learn, so to call them ****** is unfair and highly pejorative.

Some fighters are smart, some aren't.

It seems like more of them are going to school now. At least you hear about it more.

Then they have to face the real battle when most of their careers are over, working in the soul-sucking real world. ha.

sports science is not a joke subject. the human body is very complex. you're just easily impressed with big words.
