He wasn't ready for Mayweather at 140, but at 147, he has proven he deserves a shot at 147 by beating top guys at that division.

Cotto is a product of the hopes of the anti mayweather crowd

No Horace, he is the product of hard training and exceptional boxing talent. Believe it or not, he wasn't a creation of anti-Floyd conspirators to annoy Floyd's righteous fans.

Im not sure if he really did turn it down but if he did it was for the best. Mayweather would have took him to school. The fights with Zab and Shane have made him into a monster. If he gets past Margarito then he will be the WW for me. Shane is my favorite fighter and he edged him out so he gets my respect.

I like Mayweather, but Cotto is my favorite fighter. So your point is invalid as usual.

he did the right thing, he wasn't the fighter that he is now back then.

his chances of winning now are higher.

Mayweather beats Zab: "Big ****ing deal. Zab was coming off a loss"

Cotto beats Zab fifteen months after the FMJ loss and a period of long inactivity: "Oh my GAWD. Miguel is a ****ing monster".

OK. Got it. Thanks for the education.

                    Hahaha..

                    Not only that.

Floyd moves up to fight Oscar at 154 and submits to all kinds of consessions:

"Oscar was old and well past his best"

Cotto fights an even OLDER Shane:

                    "Miguel is a BEAST"

Low Blow Cotto is too afraid to even say Floyd's name.

A 36 y/o Shane walked thru all his overrated punches and had him on the run.

That weight-drainer could even faze Mosley.
