I don't hate on Hatton it just bothers me when Hatton fans blame the Mayweather victory on the ref when it was Mayweathers skills as a technician that got him the victory.

Mayweather would probably have won the fight regardless but you have to admit Cortez took ANY chance Hatton did have of winning away from him.

Every time Hatton came forward Mayweather would either land a lead right that snapped Hattons head back or iniciate a clinch to prevent Hatton from working on the inside.The only thing the ref could do was break it up as neither of them could throw on the inside.The ref did nothing ilegal in that fight.

Mayweather would not have been landing as many straight shots though if Cortez alowed in-fighting. Its part of the sport.

Every time it got close it was put back to range which suited Mayweathers pot shoting style.
