I don't Taylor had any buisness jumping up in weight like that, especially only 2 years removed from the Chavez fight. He was way above his true weight class and was a natural junior welterweight. He wasn't a big puncher at junior welterweight and moving up to 154 certainly didn't help. I agree though, having fast hands is better when you can put the power with it.

      Roy Jones had excellent power.
His power should not be compared to Calzaghe and Taylor.

Good list........malignaggi's name should be included in this list as well

Pretty good list. I would've had Calzaghe up there, but his hands looked slow against Hopkins, so age might've finally caught up with him. Eddie Chambers has very fast hands for a HW.

i dont expect u to believe me but i have very fast hands however im stil trying to find the medium between punching with power and speed combined thats why im so impressed with the way Jones is able to load up sometimes and still deliver with the same accuracy and speed ,Power

i do agree with u that Taylor was damn fast though and yes perhaps Norris was just to big for him im probably being a bit harsh on the guy there

I meant Meldrick Taylor, not Jermain. Meldrick is definitely pound for pound one of if not the fastest fighter. Jones had power when he would sit down on his shots, he didn't have any snap on them in his flurries.

Yeah but don't drain yourself though. That sounds like a lot of weight loss. I weigh 164 right now but my uncle/trainer wants me to gain more weight becuase i am 5'11 and was 186 LBS when i was taking the protein and lifting heavy. He wants me to be strong enough to deal with the other middleweights/super middleweights.
