Taylor chavez, this still makes me sick

I know this has been probably posted to death. But its so disturbing. there was 4 seconds left when steele began to wave his hands to end the fight. The bell would of sounded before they could even start to fight again. What a truly disgusting stoppage that destroyed a great fighter.

What kind of referee would Steele be if he let a fighter who didn't respond continue? 4-5 seconds is PLENTY of time to do more damage and we very well could be using "sick" to describe Steele's action had he not waved it off.

A boxer could easily get off 2-3 punchs in 1 second.

Get over it. Lou gave him the wrong game plan for the last round.

there wasnt enough time for them to begin fighting again. bell would of sounded. not to mention, I have seen fighters in much worse condition go on. Not to mention he got up at the count of 5.

It wasn't 4 seconds. It was TWO SECONDS!!! Even then he knew what was going on, he could've moved away from JCC and held his hands up and the time would've went out.

You do realize this fight ruined Taylor both physically and mentally. He was never the same, drooling and slurred talking. His camp refused to train him, he had to hire all new people. Taylor didn't even really get as upset has he should have, dude didn't respond, and Richard Steele is not the time keeper.

2 seconds is the time of the stoppage, not how much time would have been left had Taylor been exposed to Chavez. Steele waves off the fight and some seconds roll off the clock. Enough time for any fighter to waltz right in get hammered again. There is rarely a time when a fighter scores a knockdown and he stays all the way with his back to the corner. They're oftentimes already halfway to their opponent when actions resumes.

                  Taylor lost.

                  Game over, insert another quarter.

2 seconds is the official time but there was actually 4-5 seconds.
