Whos the better fighter...Williams or Pavlik???

I was hoping this was a joke. Pavlik is a better fighter than Williams, and would smash him if they fought.

Don't get me wrong, Williams looked great against Quintana, but I'm not to convinced he can deal with the constant movement like Mayweathers. Also he got hit more often against Margarito in the second half (which I think Williams won clearly and would beat him again). I think Cotto would beat williams too.

That's fine though since I think Joe would beat Kelly. Also Williams does not have a better jab then Pavlik, Pavlik has more KO power, Pavlik can throw every punch too. He's faster then Pavlik yes, I'll give you that.

Pavlik threw some pretty nice combonations on Lockett though. He didn't really 1-2 miranda to death either. Just to back him up to the ropes.

I doubt anyone can deal with a "mayweather type" of a fighter.....But Floyd shown he could be jabbed a little..Paul has an 82 inch jab that would certainly find its target against Floyd.

I think Paul woud beat Margarito tens times out of times..thats not to knock Marg..Williams is just a bad matchup for him.

I like Cotto but I think Williams would blast him out of the ring in less then 6 rounds.....Everything Cotto does..Williams does better except for body punching....not to mention the 8 inch height advantage and the 18 inch reach advantage if they ever fought..throw in Cottos chin....and I see Williams just battering him...Marg couldnt dent Williams to the head or body and he was landing flush....Cotto wont hurt him either.

I think Calzaghe would beat Pavlik ONLY because Pavlik is slow as hell.

Oh and Quintana' movement limited Williams jab a lot too in the first fight. Mayweather is a lot faster then Williams is and has an amazing right that might find home about everytime. Think a more competitive Mayweather-Ndou imo.

Cotto beats Williams because Williams gets hit easier and he's really good at coming on the inside. Make that body punching and he chops down Williams to a 7-5 victory or a draw with a knockdown victory.

Williams is a good fighter who could crack the P4P list soon but he isn't on Pavlik's level yet. One major reason is that he has never made the mental mistake that Williams made in the first Quintana fight. Kelly never came into a fight underestimating an opponent. Plus he make adjustments better when he has to.
