the interesting thing about Kostya is that he didnt really have any standout wins, but he did have a ton of 'very good' wins. I mean, the guy was beating guys like Juan LaPorte and Sammy Fuentes before his tenth pro bout. thats...unusual. although not really, he had a ridiculously good amateur background.

great and all time great is not the same thing.

one can be great but still not be an all time great.

he had a lot of solid wins. name a superfight aaron pryor had aside from arguello? if the pryor-arguello fights never happened wouldn't he still be a great fighter?

he dominated his era. that is enough to be great for me. not all time great but still a great fighter.

how many times have good fighters lost to shot fighters? more than a few times. name a champion that doesn't have some old guys on their resume to make their name?

Hatton wins by decision. Tszyu was a great fighter who would always have problems with Ricky's style of in-fighting. Tszyu always had the one punch power in his right to end the fight at anytime if he timed Hatton right coming in. If they fought 10 times prime for prime Hatton wins 6 of 10.

So many Mayweather ****riders changed their opinion on this fight after Floyd's comments on the referee. He only made the comments because he was scared that a referee was going to allow Hatton to rough him up. Its sad such a pea-brain was allowed to denigrate such a great fight and victory for the Hitman

Hatton won the fight and he won it fairly. I am a Kostya fan but there is not denying that Ricky was the better fighter on that given night.

The question is not whether the victory was fair or how much is the victory worth etc. it is about how the two fighters would fare against each other in their primes.
