Sounds like you're describing Jeff Lacy.

Floyd's win over DeLaHoya < Joe's win over Hopkins
Floyd's win over Baldomir < Joe's win over Kessler
Floyd's win over Gatti < Joe's win over Lacy
Floyd's win over Hernandez < Joe's win over Eubank

This is a comparison of their title fight winning efforts. Joe's definately been more impressive in winning his title fights, he's had 4. Mayweather has had 1 more against Castillo where he was less than stellar.

On the other hand, why is it that nobody mentions the same flaws when talking about Joe Calzaghe?

Joe is doing the same exact thing. He's gone on record saying that retiring undefeated, means more to him than fighting the best, winning world titles, or anything else in his career.

So why is it acceptable to drag Floyd's name through the dirt in regards to this, but when it comes to Calzaghe nobody mentions it?

Joe's following up a controversial split decision victory over a 43 year old, well past his prime Bernard Hopkins.......with a fight against a 39 year old, well past his prime, 3-3 in his last 6 fights Roy Jones Jr. Why? Because Roy's not a big threat, he can't punch hard, his reflexes are shot, and he's a shell of his former self.....Oh, and he's also offering the most money.

Say what you want about Floyd but at least in his last fight before retirement he had the balls to fight a guy who was the kingpin of a weight division below him who was also undefeated in the ring.

Too bad we can't say the same about Joe...........
I pretty much agree with you, but at the same time you have to look at their ages. Calz has fought long enough, Mayweather seemed to still have a few good "prime" fights left when he retired. I think that's more of a disappointment than anything else.

Lacy is not overrated, he became after Zaghe destroyed him. The bookies in the U.S and U.K had Lacy as the favourite.

Then what about non title fights?

Floyd's win over Judah > Joe's win over Tocker Pudwill
Floyd's win over Corrales > Joe's win over Peter Manfredo
Floyd's win over Hatton > Joe's win over Sakio Bika
Floyd's win over Corley > Joe's win over Kabary Salem
Floyd's win over N'Dou > Joe's win over Evans Ashira
Floyd's win over Mitchell > Joe's win over Mgar Mkrtchian

Real easy Joe just did it !

Call out Pavlik as a future opponent .

Enzo see's up close Pavlik destroy somebody that goes ok with his son in the gym .

Enzo declaring Locket will beat Kelly then on seeing Pavlik destroy him no longer thinks he is worthy to the high Manfredo Bika standard Joe has had his whoile career .

Its a blatant duck where Joe does not want to take a risk , if Joe never mentioned Kelly earlier nobody would say anything but to come out know with bull**** like Kelly dont want it is a ****ing joke , the bull****ter cant even say it straight .

I know that. I think Lacy is Joe's best win aside from bernard (controversial). I'm just pointing out his ridiculous argument.

He says Corrales was overrated. I describe Corrales as an undefeated knockout artist who nobody wanted to fight. He says it sounds like Lacy.

Therefore by his own standards, if Corrales was overrated, then Lacy must be as well by his opinion.
