May and Pac are the same weight...and Floyd has been fighting three and four divisions north of Manny.
Thats true Pacman weighed 147 for a 135 pound fight.

Floyd weighed 148 for a 154 pound fight.

Manny has said that he walks around at about 151 pounds.
Floyd has said that he walks around at about 152 pounds....

Floyd had to jump 7 pounds from 140-147, and from 147-154, while the most Manny has had to jump was 5 pounds.
That should be taken into account when determining the difficulty of going up a weight class.
And I'm saying there is a reason that weight classes are closer together in the lighter weights, because the relative % increase would be ridiculous for a 105 lb fighter to have to jump 7 pounds.

Right, and they seperate the weight classes by 4 pounds as opposed to 7, 8 and 15 pounds at the higher weights.
It is far easier to win a title at 122 and 126 than it is to win a title at 160 and 168.
            It's all relative.

Beating aging guys in Morales, Barrera and Marquez(who he did not beat imo) and then beating Diaz lol will not get props from me. Not yet. You are a Mexican fan overrating this guy, and he has not beaten a PRIME fighter like Valero. When is he going to fight a real threat. That set up last night cost some of you pac fans $49.00 lol. Maybe money isn't an option, but your comments are. Was the win last night a great win. It's a good win, but he didn't beat the best lightweight. When is Pac going to fight someone who will hit him back? Valero is more than capable of taking Pac out.

122 to 126 is a 3.28% increase in weight. 168 to 175 is a 4.17% increase in weight, not that much difference.

What about the three great mexicans, Barrera, Morales and JMM? They are much much better fighters than De la Hoya! DelaHoya is not even acknowledged by many mexican boxing fans as their own!
