The higher you go up in weight class, the more difficult it is to carry power, speed and chin.
The higher the weight classes go up, there is more weight difference between classes.
        Manny won at 112, 122, 130, 135.
        Floyd at 130, 135, 140, 147 and 154.
There was a bigger difference in weight between the two classes except when Manny jumped from Flyweight to bantamweight after his knockout loss.

Roy won titles at 160, 168, 175 and Heavyweight, the far more impressive feat.

Baldomir? Are you serious? Baldomir was such a huge dog in the Judah fight that they suspended the betting. You seem to be forgetting guys like Barrera, Morales, JMM, etc.

This is up for interpretation. PBF put on boxing clinics to win his titles, while Pac destroyed his comp, w/ the exception of Dinamita who he simply edged in a competitive fight. No one can question what PBF did at 130 and 135. At 140he owned Gatti like Pac owned MAB the 1st time, but he was supposed to. Pac was unknown when he first whomped Marco. PBF won an easy mismatch for his belt at 147 in boring fashion (the Baldomir fight). Pac went to war wit JMM and scored a KD to steal a very close, bloody battle. Doin it a 2nd time woulda been bull****, but PBF should get credit for movin up and takin Oscar's 154 lb strap, even if he was supposed to win. Same goes for pac against Diaz. Lookin at it this way, I give the edge to Pac, especially cuz he took on all comers. And as far as long term rating when their careers are over, I'm sure PBF will come back. But if he don't, or only does so for an easy $ fight, he'll definitely be eclipsed by Pac in that regard too.

They are nobodies, except for Ledwaba (sp).
MAnny has the inferior competition, I don't think there is any denying that.

So you think a guy jumping from MW to LHW is more impressive than a guy jumping from 105 up 4 weight classes to 118?

                      Pacquiao's title quest
112 vs. Chatchai Sasakul- Lineal Champion
                      122 vs. Ledwaba- Title holder
                      126 vs. Barrera- Lineal Champion
                      130 vs. JMM- Lineal Champion
135 vs. DD - Title holder

                      Floyd's
                      130 vs. Genaro Hernandez- Lineal
                      135- Castillo- Lineal
                      140 vs. Gatti- title holder
                      147 vs. Baldomir- Lineal
                      154 vs. DLH- Title holder

The big difference in their resume is pacquiao fought the best lineal champions. Baldomir and Castillo is no match for jmm and mab
His biggest win was against DLH who was at time with the belt rank #5 on the ring magazine on sw
