You just made a very dumb comparison. Valero has been chasing Pac. the two have talked. Berto hasn't been chasing cotto. act like you have a brain jack, i mean jim. I saw your screen name, and thought about the beating jack gave you, uh i mean your screen name.

Pac is going to fight soto, Hatton or Valero. Valero was a fighter and champ with Pac at 130. Guzmna also. yet he fought the old mexican warriors. Why? Money? ok, how about fighting those guys now? lol

here is my opinion on pacquiao's victory last weekend! yes, it was an impressive win over an average fighter. now it's time for pacquiao to step up to the plate and fight the very best at lightweight! for many years guzman has been calling him out but we all know pacquiao doesn't want any of that!

as far as his accomplishments being higher than roy jones jr., mayweather jr., de la hoya's is just plain comical. for one, we wouldn't be having this discussion if pacquiao would have fought a PRIME morales. a less than prime morales already kicked his ass. marquez already gave him (pacquiao) two nice little boxing lessons. even most filipinos say marquez won their second fight so what does that say about his SD win over marquez?

it seems that pacquiao only fights boxers who are either way past their primes or aging. i want to see him fight fighters like valero, soto, guzman, julio diaz etc...his opponents have been carefully handpicked. unless he gets out of his shell and begin fighting younger champions he'll never get the full credit he might deserve!

you probably havent followed the circumstances during that period. valero cannot fight in the us. mab/em had rematch clauses which they exercised. all the ppl wanted the 2nd jmm fight. soto/guzman only made news lately and only called out pac once pac was generating huge ppvs. pac's tuneups were w/ undefeated solis and former champion lario who had a much much better record than soto.

and now? those guys are busy w/ scheduled fights except valero, that's why he's a possible opponent.

your post is understandable, you're mexican. but did you know that jmm's camp flatout loudly said thay they didnt want anything to do w/ guzman when they were offered the fight? search for the article here in BS. but manny never said anything as close to that, he'll take on all comers, it was arum who thinks guzman doesnt bring anything to the table financially w/ his style of boxing.

who cares also if you don't give him any credit? lol.

                      bogler,

then that makes both marquez AND pacquiao fighters who have ducked other fighters. listen, don't make pacquiao out to be this ATG fighter just because he beats on a very average clubfighter. and yes, pacquiao has been carefully pitted against fighters who are way past their primes (except barrera) and with no punching power.

oh, and for the record, pacquiao will NEVER be a great as the great julio cesar chavez OR salvador sanchez OR a prime erik morales. and as far as he being p4p no.1, that's great but i still think calzaghe deserves it more.
