    Excellent thread, Joart.

I'll add only that the 'boxing fans' you deride here are not purists, they're uneducated, pop culture intoxicated kids in love with styles and gestures.

Could you kindly expound further on this doctrine oh enlightened sage of the Boxing Arts lest we less knowledgeable fans might misconstrue thy intended meaning.

          That's boxing.

Now running... which is most often confused with boxing is...

          Back-pedalling without doing anything.

That's what Gayweather did against Baldomir and DLH.

I can't believe a lot of boxing fans doesn't know of the difference.

And because they don't know the difference idiots of all kinds, some parading themselves as writers and self-proclaimed critics commit this grevious error.

This running like chicken **** which Gayweather does and a lot of other boxers is the very reason why boxing is no longer such a dominant sport like it used to.

As for those so-called purists... I call them hypocrites.

The average boxing fan isn't dumb. Professional prize-fighting is not about the hit and not get hit ****er... Leave that to the amateurs.

It's who hits the most effectively.

This is another basic professional boxing canon which seems to be forgotten.

People pay to see a good fight not some gayweather who already handpicked his opponent yet disgraces boxing by running like a chicken for 12 rounds.

Last... and this is the probably the most pathetic I've seen so far...

A lot of American critics labeled Gayweather as great yet when asked what makes him great they can't yap a thing.

Isn't resume the true measure of greatness?

WTF is the reason that it is only now that these so-called critics realize the folly of their ****** biases?

Nevermind the idiot Fake Floyd fans... and fans who love runners... one can't be faulted for favoring a chicken from a warrior as it is a matter of preference.
You have consistantly proven yourself to be an ignorant idiot who knows nothing about the sport of boxing.
Your opinion is trash, and you need to get over your obsession with Floyd and stop making threads about him.

I wonder if Joartcc's four years of watching whatever fights were broadcast in the Philippines, which is a comparably low percentage of what American audiences are privileged to, has sufficiently equipped him to teach anyone about being.

The skill level seen on Friday Night Fights is much greater than stuff you'd see on ABS-CBN Blow By Blow. Real talk.

The funny thing is, AMERICAN CRITICS SHOULD BE THE ****ING ONES TO TELL THESE TO BOXING FANS.

Yet American critics ****** gayweather's **** for so long that it went straight to their throat when gayweather retired like a ***** instead of fighting top guys.

And those same critics are now realizing their ******ty.

The 3 canons that I have stated are merely basic principles of boxing yet American critics seem to be completely ignorant of this.

              It's a big pity.

Too much pop culture it seems that they forget quality begets fanciful apperances.

I will.. it would be my utmost pleasure.

But to explain it further oh idiot fake floyd fan would be a grave folly on my person. Alas it reveals the lack of common sense on your behalf emanating from the happenstance that you question the principle yet presents no stout ground to assail such validity of the former.

Don't pull a trick like that again idiot.

I wonder if you idiot fake Floyd fan were the one who said Margarito is a poor man's Hatton. Lols.

Before you take a shot at me, take a good look at your ignorant self.

You're a writer here yet you have little to no common sense.
