i would totally agree with your statements, with the exception of the last part... but i would still give Floyd the edge if they have fought at LW and WW... Oscar had problems with slick fighters...
All your points were clean accurate counters, but I isolate this one.
People mock the De La Hoya win now, but they conveniently forget how dangerous a fight that was for a Mayweather operating way above his optimum fighting weight against a boxer with notable size and strength advantages and his confidence restored on the back of a comprehensive beatdown of Mayorga.
Mutha****as act like it wasn't Floyd's stated goal for years to get a fight with Oscar. He announced that ambition years before it actually happened. And he went up to light-middle to do it.
Anybody who knocks that accomplishment is a ****ing idiot.
Also...if Oscar and Mayweather had been lightweights or junior-welters in the same timeframe, Floyd would have waxed De La Hoya.Comment

Still fighting a shot DLH over top welters then ***** retiring is a sure fire way to relegate you to sideshow status.
That's gayweather.Comment

nobody said he was shot when he fought Mayorga and Forbes and nobody is going to tell he was shot when he is fighting the winner of Cotto/MargaritoComment

Oh cmon!
Will you lower yourself to such an ignorant state that you will pretend to be ignorant.
But let's simplify, if DLH is his biggest fight, why did he run like a chicken.
That's a simple question.
Another simple question.
He claims he's better than Robinson yet his resume is that of a sideshow. Now why is that.
Oh cmon maz... don't tell me you will lower yourself to the idiocy level of a say... left hook tua or a horus.Comment
