Here we go again, another one of those. If I had the patience I would start this argument all over again but I had to many related to this.

All I can is, did Joe even think about coming to America in 2000-2003???

Surely Hopkins wasn't gonna make the trip to Wales to fight a WBO title holder and risk getting robbed.

Hopkins would of beat Calzaghe decisively if he had a better workrate but at 43 it just wasn't there, A younger Hopkins would of matched Calzaghe for workrate but would land more shots as calzaghe hasn't got good defense, a ko wouldn't even be in the equation, Hopkins has a great chin. same for Calzaghe. Hopkins in his prime wins a UD over Calzaghe.

Don't forget, Popkins was much more vulnerable in his prime and his defense was nothing more than average, add Calzaghe's prime power and you would've witnessed a spectacular KO.

Calzaghe beats Popkins in his worst day to be honest. He's just too good for him.

It shows that Popkins can't finish a fight.

Why do people say things like this?

So the Hopkins 1 year ago, who fought his first Southpaw in donkeys years against an out of shape, old Tarver is significantly better than the one 1 year later who was facing his third Southpaw in a row?

                  Sorry T-97

History doesn't look kindly on boxers who don't make history.

Beating Lacy, Kessler, Hopkins (barely), and losing to RJJ will not afford Calzaghe special treatment.
