Although Manny's dominance through the divisions is impressive, you have to remember when Floyd was a 16 year old amatuer he was fighting at 106 too. Manny just turned pro before Floyd did.

Floyd didnt have the same toolset to work with as an amateur as he did as a pro. The vast world of difference in skill comes from the fact that Pacquiao couldn't afford the luxry of an amateur career.

Manny is nowhere near as big as Mayweather. It's different. That's like saying Kelly Pavlik beat Margarito so now that Cotto is fighting him it's the same thing? No it isn't. If Manny beats Hatton I'll be infinitely more impressed because he's the smaller guy. Mayweather beating Hatton was a foregone conclusion in many unbiased observers eyes.
