Good to finally see Margarito's progress he looks faster now on the mitts & a little sharper, but yeah he looks a little out of shape as well. Him & Cotto are going to give us a tremendous fight.

He looks like he's about 20lbs plus over right now - he looked incredible against Cintron - not sure if this is what he was looking like as a comparison...

He looks like a boxer in this vid - but it's all about fight night and instincts - DeLeon shows tons of technique in training but regresses big time on fight night (drives his trainer crazy).

Hopefully Marg can transfer this into the ring - but then again, he's not popular because of his incredible quickness or natural boxing ability.

The week before a fight you should be right around fight weight. I am glad these guys still have pounds to lose. No nutritionists, solid foods, they are on schedule.

i just want to say thank you for posting this video. margarito looks like a man on a mission. he is ready to give the fans a knockout. margarito has always had the speed technique and defensive skills and they are very underrated. the thing is in the ring he gets bloodthirsty and just wants to knock fighters out. but i think this will be the fight he puts it all together and finally gets his recognitiion as the best welterweight fighter in the world.
