This is exactly how fighters look weeks before a fight. I hope that cotto takes his time losing his weight. Being 10 lbs away from fighting weight is good, but a bit early for a fight being a month away. I hope cotto doesn't over train. Margs looks on schedule aslo.
For Cotto's first commission weigh-in for the Judah fight his weight was 154lbs. So I would say that he is on his usual schedule too.

He looks good, his punches look sharper and faster in training than they do in a real fight. Maybe he's done it just for this fight?

This guy is about 180 here... he should be fighting at 154 or 160.

Also, His punches do look tighter but did anyone notice how many openings he has? Cotto will be tagging that grill all night long.

I'm sorry but your boy is going to get stopped by cotto, and then there will be so many excuses on why he did. But the truth is, cotto is the real deal and Margarito is an average boxer at best. If he had a rematch with Paul Williams, Williams probably would ko him too. People talk too much about granite chins, but Margarito is not unstoppable, him and clottey hurt each other and those two are not elite boxers. They are not the best in the welterweight division, Margarito should be a bigger underdog then he already is in the cotto fight but the only reason he is not a huge underdog is because people question cottos chin... MWAHAHAHA

7th round stoppage for cotto, thats what I can see happening in this fight. I can even see Margarito's corner throwing in the towel when they realize the difference between an elite boxer to average ones.

i didn't like the way tony was moving. to me, it almost seems like something's wrong with. his knees just seemed loose, maybe a little rubbery. thats just my opinion and his punches were crisp.

cotto will find that out himself when he gets his first taste of true welterweight power.
