are you serious? stick to being a calzaghe fan boy for you know **** all about anything else. bhop's destruction, and dismanteling of tito is a thing of beauty, and seldom seen between two elite fighters. watch the fight, not just you tube clips.

Regradless, I had him winning both. It's been a while since I've seen the first one.
That isnt why he was cautious, he waited the first fight because of Taylor's speed and to see how Taylor would react to being on the big stage his first time, to see if nerves would catch up with him. Tito as well as many others had good KO ratios when Hop fought them, that had nothing to do with it.

The three people who voted "No" either did so to spite how obvious of an answer the question deserves, or they've never watched boxing.

          The question should be:

Is Bernard Hopkins The Smartest Fighter to have ever laced up gloves?

The Calzgahe fight, Hopkins was smart little head butts in there. Is Bernard Hopkins a smart fighter. Your opinion please?
Hopkins has mastered his craft. His ability to counter punch beautifully, combined with the ability to get in and tear you up on the inside using old school boxing techniques, always makes him dangerous. On top of that, the fact that he is able to use dirty boxing in fragments and get away with it makes him a smart old dog.

Only a very intelligent fighter could make Calzaghe look like absolute garbage at the age of 43.

As it happens, I do think Hopkins is a better 'boxer' than Tito Trinidad but I believe it was mostly his size advantage that enabled him box so well and look as good as he did in that fight.
That is not correct. Bernard clearly outboxed Tito! Clearly.

I agree with this Melly. Bhop made Tito look, well almost amateurish at times.
