Pavlik would get well beaten by Calzaghe but I wouldn't call him one-dimensional.

Pavlik usually just throws the one, two (jab, straight right) and keeps coming forward. That's one-dimensional IMO. I'm not saying that's a bad thing since it's worked pretty good for Kelly so far, but against a boxer who can keep adjusting like JC does, it would never win him the fight.

Pavlik has a style that Calzaghe can easily expose.

Kessler is another protected fighter, who has he beaten that can even match the guys on Taylors resume? Taylor would more than likely beat Calzaghe, so Pavlik would probably as well.

Dude... he's not going to counter him. Pavlik would control the ring. I'm not going to say Pavlik would definitely win the fight... but I don't think Pavlik would be the guy backing up. I think... it would look alot like the Kessler fight... with Pavlik throwing more than Kessler did.
