    Calzaghe vs Pavlik = destruction

After a fighter makes it big he is usually flamed for 'ducking' the one fighter fans think could beat him, which usually isn't always the case:

Floyd Mayweather ducked Cotto? There still is a chance for Mayweather to beat Cotto, this isn't that one sided as many like to think

Pacquiao ducked Guzman? Pacquiao would probably beat Guzman

Calzaghe ducked Pavlik? Because Calzaghe would get annihilated, I really can't see how he stands a chance at all. Pavlik has good defense, he's right hand heavy and he throws sneaky combination's. He would destroy Calzaghe ether by a stoppage or round 10 ko.

    you get the idea....

No I don't get the idea, you make no sense, Calzaghe is 10x more proven that Pavlik.

Pavlik hasn't earned the right to demand a fight with Calzaghe. You're talking about a longtime champion in higher divisions against a middleweight with one title defense. I don't think Pavlik is ready for that fight at all.

It's Quality over Quantity, and Jermain Taylor is better than anyone Calzaghe faced

You really haven't made a great knowledgeable case for Pavlik winning, and your in a minority thinking that would be the case I'm afraid.

What you say is partially true but it totally ignores so many other factors, such as Calzaghes chin, if Mitchells hardest shot hardly phases him, Kesslers upper cuts dont which are roughly as powerful which most agree on, hows Joe going down to Kelly?

He'd be dancing around him all night, jabbing, using his big speed advantage, out boxing him. Kelly is in with a decent chance but to say definite KO for Kelly is just blindly being confident in a fighter because you support them.

Calzaghe is way too fast and skilled for the slow, one-dimensional Pavlik. JC would make Pavlik look foolish if he ever comes up to LHW.

Taylor is not better than Kessler.
Even if he was, you can't use the triangle theory, it just won't work.
Pavlik has a style that Calzaghe can easily expose.

flames aside, doesn't Pavlik have a style that could potentially expose Calzaghe?

Pavlik would get well beaten by Calzaghe but I wouldn't call him one-dimensional.
