Both Roy and Calzaghe are very unorthodox fighters BUT Roy chokes when he's fighting an unconventional fighter, Roy would do well against Kessler and his likes, but Calzaghe?! Noway, it's a bad match-up.
Expect a comfortable UD, maybe a late round stoppage with Roy laying on the ropes, not answering back...
ummm no, Have you heard of Montell Griffin or James Toney?

It would definitely add a lot to his legacy. I say it would be a pretty huge upset.

Because we don't like the way he is winning. He looks like a ***** fighting his way out of spider webs even if it's effective. John Ruiz has beaten some decent heavyweights in his time (Rahman, K. Johnson, Holyfield, Valuev). Doesn't mean I have to like it.

joe will have the higher workrate

contrary to popular belief, roy WANTS this fight on the ropes....

in the middle of the ring, joe would have the upper hand because of his legs..

on the ropes... its now a game of whose betterr with the hands, and i take roy all day
Roy is gun shy. I PREDICT he chokes

You guys all sound like Jeff Lacy, "oh he slaps, he slaps, doesn't punch", get over that **** already, he's 45-0, you gotta be special to keep that record in a World Class level.

Not every punch is a slap. I've had several friends who don't watch much boxing appreciate his style. I mean, he's still fighting - I just find the hate a bit irrational. I don't really feel the need to champion Calzaghe's honor or anything...but still. I am all about respecting a boxer.

Anyway, that's a pretty bad ass picture of *****.
