    Good call....of course, the main difference being that someone Spinks didn't do it out of necessity, not for "corner cutting" reasons, and tried to make up for it in other ways.

    If I were still boxing, there would be no way I could do regular roadwork....

                As long as you are doing some sort of cardio (like swimming) you could probably skip it. In fact in many ways swimming is actually better as it puts less stress on your joints.

                Needless to say if you want to achieve anything significant in the sport you cant skip cardio altogether.
