I love watching this fight. I went into it tired as hell because I watched it at like 1 in the morning. It woke me up right away. It was incredible.

I also had it convincing for Toney. I think I had it 117-109 or 116-110. I can't remember, but I was remember saying "What the hell is up with Ledderman?"

I thought Holyfield-Qawi 1 was better, Steward freaked during the 9th round of Gatti-Ward as well.
      Now I'm guilty of plagarism!

I mean I don't see the big deal since Roy called the fight ending punch just about every time he commentated. I remember Roy saying Hopkins would knock Allen down with a straight right moments before it happened. I also remember him saying Tito would KO Mayorga with a body shot in the 2nd or 3rd round. Tito finally did it in the 8th.
I just watched (well actually kind of listened, I was playing a poker tournament at the time) Trinidad-Mayorga today. Roy actually kind of sounded impatient when that body shot finally put Mayorga down.

      It sounded like:

"For ****'s sake, about time Tito... Lampley, Merchant, what did I ****ing tell you 2 rounds into the fight?"

one of the best fights that i can remember. I actually yelled out loud at Toney droppin Jirov. Very competitive fight, with all the rds being close. However, Toney pulled it out by 3-4 pts. Toney is just a bad ass, stands in front of you, doesnt run . He makes u miss and makes u pay...

Do you remember when Ward landed that four punch combination on Gatti's head (all were hooks from both hands) when Gatti's hands were touching his knees (yeah for Gatti's defense!)? Steward was like yelling random noises because he was so excited.

Was he more excited than he was for that round? I can't imagine he was, but... if he was, then I REALLY need to get this fight.
You really need to get this fight.

              Extremely new.

My first live fight I watched (not in the crowd... like on TV) was Dawson-Adamek & Diaz-Chavez. That Showtime card.

Although I had been DLing Jones fights earlier and Mayweather as well.

Fight Night got me into the sport.

Every copy I find is the 36 minute, no intro, no in-between round, no decision copy. Just the 3 minutes of each round with everything edited out. I just can't bring myself to watch copies of fights in that condition. I need some time to **** around on solitaire for the minute in between rounds. Something is wrong with me I think, but you know... can't be fixed!

"If Toney loses this fight, it was in rounds 6, 7, 8, and 9"

Yeah Harold too bad Toney clearly won all of those rounds
