Youtube is banned from my work so I cannot see the video until I get home. However, it is a little risky imitating Roy Jones' style. It requires superb reflexes and timing. Jones' style derived from what he was able to get away with since he is so physically gifted. He trained and fought as an amatuer for literally his whole life to understand who he was and what style he was able to employ when becoming a pro. My advice to you is to follow your dreams and don't let anyone tell you what you can and cannot do. Leave it to you opponent to change your mind about your abilities and then if it does not work for you, change it up a little bit. Jones is currently using a slightly different approach to how he boxes because his timing and reflexes have slightly deteriorated, and this has caused a drastic change in how he must fight. It looks like you idolize Jones as I do and I would encourage you to do what makes you happy. However, you must stay in a gym and don't rely on just yourself & expect to be successful in boxing. It will require experienced trainers to make the whole thing come together. Sometimes outside sources have a better way of identifying shortcomings than the people closest to you. Kind of like American Idol. Those contestants look like fools when on the big stage because their loved ones keep telling them that they are "great" rather than help them become "better". Best of luck. I always wanted to try my hand at boxing, but have not had the time or discipline, so I love to hear stories like yours. Feel free to write back if you like. I'll be happy to help with any advice. - Chase.you guys dont have to believe me
