ahahahah. you are a stoopid mofo. nutritious are bad for boxers. boxers dont benefit from nutritious.

oh and pantera, dont use miranda and quintana as excuse to say why they lost. The both lost becasue they got beat by the superior opponent, not because of the nutritious.

    some people ffs.

Boof, in my opinion you have made a large generalisation.

You are suggesting that nutritionists don't really know much about how the human body works, in relation to food. This is obviously your first problem, as im sure EVERY decent nutritionist knows a whole lot more than you, and a boxer, about proper food supply.

I don't mean to be a ****, but you seem to imply that nutritionists aren't going to understand energy requirements, this is completely ridiculous.

Theres always going to be problems when you are trying to achieve the following:
      - You have to lose a certain amount of weight
      - You already have practically zero available bodyfat to lose
      - You don't want to lose muscle

Its practically impossible, and im sure the help of a nutritionist could only help with reducing the probable negative effects that someone under those circumstances will encounter.

I try not to eat the same meal more than once every couple of weeks.... I must be some kind of freak!
im just wondering, have you ever boxed? or have you ever hired a nutritionist to give you eating directions/advice beforea fight???

im just wondering because only a fighter who has used a nutritionist and has experienced problems etc can really comment on this issue

All I'm saying is that they aren't beneficial to boxers. That is my opinion based on experience and just talking to fighters. It is not putting any nutritionists down. Most people assume that if you need one, something is wrong. I'm not making any of this up. They do their job. I don't really want anyone to tell me that I'm wrong, i wanted to hear some opinions on nutritionists being beneficial. We all know their job is positive. Are they beneficial is what i want to know from the pro-nutritionists.

Talking about boxers needing a nutritionist to help lose weight before a fight.

For me it is a combination of Ali's natural foods diet, combined with the fruit grazing thoery employed by the Gracie clan. Natrual foods can never go wrong. The paleonthilic diet is also good, and kinda the same thing without whole grains.

Nutrition is important, but I think you do have a point that some of them are full of ****. go with the old school wisdom rather than too much scientific crap such as low-gi, high protein and other such gimmicks.

Back to the original post, eating smaller amounts of what you normally eat is just another nutrition plan!
My advice is eat as much natural foods as possible, never touch fried stuff and spread out your meals. They are the basics which have worked at Valencia and Liverpool FC.
                    Good Post.
