arreola: if im not getting hit im not a real fighter

arreola is coming up and is a future heavyweight champion. he is a true mexican warrior that is giving the fans exciting knockouts every time he fights. if there were more mexicans in the heavyweight divisions boxing would probably be the most popular sport in the world today because we only know how to fight one way and thats coming forward to hunt the opponent down and knock him out.

and of course any real fighter isnt afraid to get his. arreola has said last night that he loves to get hit because that is what real fighters do. he will take a few punches to give some back and that is what the fans love to see.

He's probably saying that because of all the negative comments about his defense.

I'll preface my post by stating that Arreola did a good job of taking out Witherspoon and should have been awarded a stoppage victory. He has solid power and he has a very fan-friendly, aggressive style.

But for real though, ******* looked like an overachieving toughman contender in there. He'd get ****in wrecked by any of these European dudes right now...especially against a guy like Klitschko or Chagaev.

I'd like to see Arreola/Chambers. It would be a good fight with Eddie's lack of power and Arreola's lack of technique. He'd certainly feel like a real fighter with all of the punches he'd take.

some people take a few to deliver theirs, some people can avoid punches easier and get their wins by being the better boxer, some people just steamroll over opponents

you want Arreola to shoulder roll and move? He isnt that type of fighter YET he keeps winning and now has beaten two fighters people said he wouldn't (Wills and Witherspoon)

Arreola was probably referring to body punches since his rockhard abs & chiseled chest can take the punishment...

and boxing is about body building? if you can fight you can fight why would we give a **** what a fighter looks like unless you have some ulterior motives behind watching boxing?

ummm no. if you are an arreola fan, tua isn't the guy you want to see in the ring with him. tua CAN'T be ko'd and he probably has the most powerful punch in boxing. this is one guy arreola needs to stay away from if he wants to be an open fighter.

yeah arreola is good for the division ... but he needs to learn
to throw his punches better I think he throws alot of his shots
off balance he's not getting full power from his punches ...
