Yeah he did look a bit like Hatton. If it was Hatton hitting him with that body shot it may have been over then!

I am not a Khan fan, i wish he would not constantly talk about a world title shot and beating the record for youngest british champ etc. Especically as he has no charisma!
I think his chin is going to be a massive problem, but he won fairly convincingly and moves on a win is a win, he wants to step up in class then we will see what he is made of but he is trying and seems to have the desire.
I personally would like to see him tested against a taller oponent maybe that wont happen till he moves up in weight?

Did anyone else think Gomez fights a bit like Hatton?

Yeah he does fight a bit like Hatton, Come forward taking punches but Gomez has a great chin, He was being hit with fast quick combos that would have drop anyone but he took it and was still coming forward. He did the samething against Carl johansen and the ref had to stop it in the end...Maybe its a Manchester thing.

Is it just me that thinks if Khan and Hatton fought in a year or so Khan would have him? Lazcano hurt Hatton and Khan has good handspeed.....

And before anyone accuses me of overrating him i hate Khan. I have rooted against him since the Limond fight..

That would be a good fight. I think though that if Gomez at LW can hurt and drop Khan, dragging him into a war, Hatton would do the same, but emerge victorious.

If Khan can't box on the inside he needs to learn to keep his opponent on the outside. Someone like him should have been able to box his way to victory over Gomez quite easily, but Khan is still learning.

Khan's got time to learn the game and get better. All his flaws are forgiveable right now since they ain't cost him a fight yet. When he rushes into a big fight too soon and gets beaten, then start criticizing him. He is overhyped, but isn't every fighter wit an 0 to some degree?

WTF? Khan would get KOed in 3, i dont know how anyone who watched the fight last night can say Khan would have a chance against Hatton. Khan was in trouble against a guy that had lost 3 of his last 6 fights is'nt ranked in the top 50, and you think he would stand a chance against the #1 in the weight class higher than him?
