lol that was years ago, this version of gomez got used and abused by carl johansen down at superfeatherweight and carl didnt go on to cover himself in glory after that. i guess anyone who gets stopped in back to back fights by Javier Osvaldo Alvarez and Peter McDonagh is a top opponent.

Yeah because Khan should really be fighting world class fighters right now.
He only turned pro less than three years ago. It's a learning curve, he's the best young fighter we've got at the moment so get behind him.

Khan gets way more mainstream media attention than Solis Fonte and Gamboa and having both had less than 12 fights they are way ahead of him in terms of competition. Essentially Khan must be way overhyped if hes still at this level and warrants all this attention.

Khan won a silver medal at the olympics, which naturally earned him plenty of praise and fame on British TV.

For a similar example, check out ODLHs pro debut after his olympic success, and you really will see hype.

Are you British? Then that's why he gets more attention. I bet in the US he gets no mainstream attention. He was an olympic medalist and therefore a national icon.
              Get over it.

yes that title that Calzaghe stuck with. Heard of Jorge Paez? DLH moved up in weight to fight him for another title in his 14th fight.
Look khan doesnt merit the attention he gets which clearly means that hes overhyped.
