how bout the shots he took from ward and robinson? even in the floyd fight he took some clean shots and never seemed fazed by them. Of course THEY HURT!! but he never seemed like he was out and didnt know where he was at. In my opinion gatti had a great chin.

Robinson was not a power fighter at all, and Ward was really only known for his body shot to be overly powerful.

A guy with a great chin does not become the 13th KO (it was a brutal one by the way) out of 46 wins against Baldomir, nor does he get brutally KO'd by Alfonso Gomez, who is criticized for a lack of power.

Gatti's chin at the stage of his career after Floyd was terrible. Before Floyd it wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible. I guess the question is whether it was gone before Floyd fought him, or whether the Mayweather bout took so much out of him that he couldn't effectively take a punch anymore.

I just rewatched that fight again and was blown away that is how you take a guy out he put on a masterclass.

Cotto in that performance would murder floyd jr to the body and head no wonder floyd jr avoided that Tank.

Seriously Cotto vs Margarito is gonna be crazy but Cotto will be blistering the **** outta Margaritos body and take all that steam off margaritos punches softening him up and then going head hunting in the later rounds.
