I think a bruised knuckle can count as an injury, but... not as bad as originally thought.

For sure it wasn't bad enough to stop fighting for the last 8 rounds.

of course over time your not the same anymore. but in the robinson fights, the ward fights, the floyd fight gatti showed a great chin.

huh? since when does being knocked down mean you have a weak chin? When your in the type of fights gatti gets in it's amazing if someone doesn't go down. In my opinion gatti had a great chin! He can take a punch!! being knocked down by a punch does put u in a weak chin category.

how bout the shots he took from ward and robinson? even in the floyd fight he took some clean shots and never seemed fazed by them. Of course THEY HURT!! but he never seemed like he was out and didnt know where he was at. In my opinion gatti had a great chin.

You must acknowledge that Floyd does not have significant power. Also, you must consider that Gomez has fought middleweights and supermiddleweights and has never been knocked down or hurt... Gatti was getting hurt by much smaller fighters. Angel Manfredy tore Gatti apart just as brutal as Mayweather did.

You still don't understand that being knocked down doesn't mean you have a weak chin!!! Has gatti ever been knocked unconcious? has he ever been buckled? Put into the consideration the type of wars he has been in and yet not one time have you seen gatti doing a chicken dance! or out cold. he has a great chin. and gatti is a smalle guy himself dont forget that. Do you think corrales has a weak chin? I dare you to say yes! How many times was he down against floyd? against castillo? against clottey? In your terminology of a weak chin your saying corrales has a weak chin then right?

Also of note: floyd dropped corrales numerous times but couldnt drop gatti except for that shot gatti had his hands down. Castillo dropped corrales twice so does floyd have more power than castillo?
